When people ask me what Windows laptop they should buy, I never hesitate to recommend Lenovo—their products just keep going and going, more so than some other brands I went through before switching to a Mac, which apparently lasts longer (I have a friend who still uses a 12” PowerBook). I’m not really a fan of Sony products either, but this is a fantastic premise: a lightweight laptop with an external graphics card for heavy rendering when you’re at your desk, and portability when you’re not.
